What happens next

  • Meridian reviews the assignment type, unit location, and requested scope.
  • Coverage, travel considerations, and expected scheduling are confirmed before the file proceeds.
  • If the file is urgent, call (206) 383-6490 after submission.
  • Access problems or missing location information are raised directly rather than left until the reporting deadline.

Formats and vendor workflows

Include the estimating platform, report format, or vendor-system requirement with the assignment. Meridian will confirm compatibility before accepting the file rather than claiming support for a system that is not part of the current workflow.

Reports may be delivered as a PDF, native estimating file, or through a client system where access and instructions are provided and accepted.

Photo and documentation standards

The scope varies by assignment, but field files are organized so a reviewer who was not present can understand the unit, the damage, and the basis of the appraisal.

  • Full-unit overview and identification photographs
  • VIN, odometer or hour meter, equipment and option verification as applicable
  • Damage detail from multiple distances and angles
  • Structural, underhood, and undercarriage areas as accessible
  • Prior and unrelated damage separated from loss-related damage
  • Interior and overall condition documentation on valuation files

Coverage

Core coverage includes the Seattle, Tacoma, and Everett metro, including King and Snohomish counties and most of Pierce County. Extended assignments may be accepted north to Bellingham, west to the islands and peninsula, south to Chehalis, and east along I-90 to Moses Lake.
